For prospective families whose children will start in Reception in September 2024, small-group or 1-1 tours of the school will be offered throughout autumn term 2023.
You should apply for your child to start primary or infant school in the school year your child turns 4 so for entry into Reception in the September 2024 school year, children will have been born between 1st September 2019 and 31st August 2020.
Applications for a place in Reception starting in September 2024 opened on the 12th September 2023. Please note that applying early does not give any priority, although to have the best chance of your application being successful you should complete and submit your application by the deadline which is the 15th January 2024.
Late applications can be made after this date, but may be dealt with after all the other applications that were received on or before the application deadline which means you will stand less chance of getting your preferred school. National Offer Day is in April.
Applications for entry into reception can be made by using the online form to apply for a school place.
If you can’t apply online you can request a paper Primary Application Form by calling 01904 551 554.
Please read the Guide for Parents when applying for a school place, as it contains key information on school admissions. You can also find the Guide to School Catchment Areas online.
