Happy, Healthy, Learning for Life and Caring for All
The Pupil Premium Initiative was launched in 2011/12. This money is allocated to schools based on the number of pupils in the school who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM), Service Pupils, Looked After Children and those that have been in care.
For 2022-23, the amounts are as follows for pupils:
FSM; £1385
Service Children: £320
LAC: £2,410
Schools must decide how to spend the Pupil Premium Funding so that it will support the raising of attainment and help to overcome barriers for some of the most vulnerable learners. Further information is available here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/pupil-premium/pupil-premium
